 AP - LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kevin Costner has wrapped up his latest role — plaintiff in a lawsuit. Costner, 53, has settled his 2 1/2-year-old lawsuit that claimed Ascendant Pictures broke an oral agreement to pay him $8 million to star in a romantic comedy called "Taming Ben Taylor."

An attorney entered the plea Wednesday for the Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver singer, who was not required to appear in court for his arraignment because of the misdemeanor count.
